"I learned from this book that you have to forgive though you don't forget. And the only way to get over the haunted past is to face the past with the present and learn to forgive. I loved this book it was very touching to me and it had a very interesting story line. While saving the "world" and trying to help others detective John had to face the biggest fear of all, his father. He had to forgive his father though he hated him all of his life for killing his mother in front of him.
